Paul worked on 100+ matters across regulated industries in six years as a commercial litigator at one of Michigan’s largest firms.
He was lead counsel on a landmark environmental mass tort for 550+ clients, against a Fortune-50 opponent. He won a federal jury trial as first chair.
As chief legal officer, Paul ran enterprise-wide contracting and the supply chain behind HRT, peptide and wellness lines. He led two companies through LegitScript certification.
Today he is outside general counsel to growing companies across the country. Regulated health is the industry he knows best, especially telehealth and pharmacy.

- Outside general counsel. Contracts, vendors, regulatory strategy, board questions and people issues for growing companies in telehealth, e-commerce, regulated wellness and technology.
- Chief legal officer of a national telehealth company. Enterprise-wide contracting, supplier relationships for hormone-therapy, peptide and wellness lines, internal investigations, lender negotiations and risk audits. He led the company through LegitScript certification.
- COO and CLO of a concierge health company he founded. He built and ran the operation, and led its LegitScript certification.
- Pharmacy and pharmaceutical supply chain. Relationships with 503A compounding pharmacies and 503B outsourcing facilities, from active ingredient to finished product. Where manufacturing compliance needs a quality consultant, he brings one in.
- Commercial litigation. Six years at one of Michigan’s largest firms, with a docket that ran from trade-secret and restrictive-covenant cases to shareholder and contract disputes. TCPA litigation.
- Data privacy. He’s built data-privacy compliance programs and counseled companies on cybersecurity, incident response and GDPR-era program design.
- Regulated and emerging markets. Cannabis, autonomous-vehicle technology, crypto and blockchain, and health and wellness.
- Fundraising and lenders. He’s raised and negotiated capital from the company side, including mezzanine debt.
